:- 5.0 out of 5 stars from Mike Simmons -- An interesting travelogue thru India! : I am a fan of the authors adventures with his amigo buddies on motorcycles, but this was a different adventure of a sort. His backpacking trip was not as I had assumed a hike thru the mountains and forest but rather a visit to the many locations of historical interest in India. The author takes you along in his travels and provides a wonderful description of Indian history and cultures. His adventures and misadventures provide a delightful and entertaining tour through a country that I hope one day to visit. Bravo! ( Reviewed in the United States on September 28, 2019 )

As I read it I found the book keeping me attracted and I kind of finished in 3 days or so. The book is well written in a story telling fashion. Quite information and at places give good background information on religious beliefs. He used a lot of slangs and I believe at places will be difficult to understand for an non Indian. But along with all the fun 'n games, it is clear that Ketan has done his homework in great depth... nobody can write like that without having covered many a mile and travelled high and low... sometimes gasping and wheezing ;) … I also love those intermediate asides...
